3.9: Craig Ferris on Basketball, Coaching and Fatherhood
Craig Ferris is northern Arapaho and Cheyenne from Wyoming Indian Reservation. As a young chap Craig played for Wyoming Indian High school and aided in the winning of the 1992 Wyoming State Championship. He later played two years at casper college winning a NCJAA Region 9 Championship in 1996, and later played two years of NCAA Division Two basketball at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico.
Craig started out coaching younger teams in middle school and worked his way up to the high school level. In his years of coaching his high school boys team one six state championships and in other years two state runner ups with one 3rd place finish and two fourth place finishes.
